Raintree Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of
Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for
Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The
houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses. Back To Top |

 We dedicated our most recent home in Kennard on December 19th. Our next house will be an Apostles Build House. We are asking for local churches to join us in this build, starting in the Spring of 2008. Please contact the Habitat office if your church is interested in being involved in this unique ministering program.We praise God for his continued faithfulness!

Volunteers are always needed for work sites, office duties, committees, and the board. For more information, please call our Executive Director, Cary Plummer, at 765-521-0723 anytime during the day or evening.
Also, if you would like to donate directly to Raintree Habitat for for Humanity, please go to Habitat.org and select the Raintree affiliate. Raintree Habitat was recently given an award of tax credits from the state to help with fund raising. Please call for information. If you or someone you know is in need of decent, afforable housing, please call our office at 765-521-0723 for more information about the process of applying for Habitat home ownership. We are here to help you. |
